New Stansted Express train fleet launches onboard Internet solution from Icomera

Icomera was selected to supply a complete internet access solution for Bombardier's new Class 379 trains, which are now being delivered to National Express East Anglia. The Icomera system is providing internet access for passengers, staff and onboard systems including CCTV, passenger information and Bombardier's train management system.

Icomera’s Stephen Hall will be speaking at the JANET Wireless Networking Workshop on the 13th of April at the University of Hertfordshire. Janet's Networkshop starts on April 12 –April 14, and it is the must attended technical conference of the year for staff in education and research.

The in-depth programme of the workshop is addressing key concerns for the sector with experts presenting and running workshops on security, network access, cloud and data services. There will be the opportunity to network with over 250 peers in institutions facing the same challenges, as well as over 45 specialist IT suppliers exhibiting throughout the conference.
Icomera’s Mr. Hall will be talking about Optimising Passenger Data Services on Public Transport.

East Coast Trains has chosen Interfleet Technology’s recently launched Guru product to help deliver a step-change in monitoring performance.
Communications between train and shore is provided by Interfleet’s Wi-Fi partner Icomera AB, whose Wi-Fi system is already fitted to the whole of the East Coast train fleet. Read more.
