Go North East have invested £14 million in 100 new buses, with on-board Wi-Fi, to be used across eight of its most popular routes.

The new vehicles are running on the company’s Connections 4, Drifter, CityLink, Saltwell Park, Venture, Fab 56, Cobalt Clipper and TEN services.

All of Go North East’s other 41 routes will also benefit from the new vehicles thanks to a strategy whereby the newest buses are cascaded down to refresh the whole fleet and remove the oldest vehicles from service.
