Bus passenger numbers in the UK’s major urban areas could rise by more than 11 per cent under a package of improvements to services delivered by operators and transport authorities, according to a new report published by the Confederation of Passenger Transport UK. Moovera Networks is cited as driving change with its passenger Wi-Fi services being adopted by passengers "in astounding numbers" (report page 33). Minister of Transport Rt Hon Rosie Winterton MP cites Moovera's deployment of Wi-Fi with Stagecoach Oxford Tube as an example of best practice for offering free internet access to passengers.
