Through our involvement with leading European train operators over the past five years Icomera has developed an in-depth understanding of train operator requirements and priorities with respect to connecting their fleets. This has led us to develop two different solutions to address the differing drivers (ie. passenger-facing or operational) and constraints (i.e. budget and train type) of different rail operators

The Wireless Onboard Internet™ solution for trains is made up of different modular components that provide specific functions, rapid installation and easy maintenance. This ensures that train downtime is minimised. The complete system on a train is known as Icomera Mobile System (IMS) either Commuter or Intercity editions.

Icomera's end to end service covers the following:

• The negotiation with mobile operators and agreement of the optimum communications package. Always a minimum of 2 mobile operators.
• Advice & support on certification and the development of train specific regulatory approvals
• Installation
• Operations including a range of support mechanisms, e.g. customer hotline and remote management as well as management of the payment processing.
