Two million WiFi users

In merely six months time another one million passengers have logged on to the internet via Icomera’s Wi-Fi solution, bringing the accumulated total to record two million.
When National Express inherited Icomera’s pioneering Wi-Fi service from GNER, it was decided to open a free access to all passengers onboard their high-speed trains, which tripled usage over night. This brought the total monthly number of users to some 200 000 also including the increasingly popular Wi-Fi service on SJ’s trains.
Presently Grand Central’s trains are being equipped with Icomera’s Wi-Fi solution, bringing the number of high-speed train customers to three; SJ, Sweden, National Express and Grand Central, UK.
