16th July 2019 – Icomera, a subsidiary of ENGIE Ineo, announces that it has completed the acquisition of DG8 design and engineering through its own subsidiary Icomera UK. Founded in 2008, DG8 is a well-established and widely respected design and engineering group based in Derby, UK. Its creative and versatile team are experienced in delivering design-led projects from concept to implementation. DG8 has primarily worked with clients in the rail transport sector and its team has extensive experience of the rail vehicle market, working at all tiers of the supply chain.
Icomera is known as the world’s leading provider of Passenger Wi-Fi for public transport, connecting millions of users and tens of thousands of vehicles to the Internet every day around the globe. This service increases the attractiveness of public transport to the benefit of the environment.
