Icomera US Welcomes Sabrine Wood as Human Resources Business Partner

Icomera US Inc., the world’s leading provider of wireless connectivity solutions for public transport, is pleased to announce Sabrine Wood has joined as Human Resources Business Partner for North America.

Sabrine will be responsible for providing regional leadership of human resources in areas of recruiting, onboarding new employees, administering employee benefits, managing internship programs, and instituting policy and procedures.

With almost six years of experience, Sabrine has a deep background in industrial organizational psychology with broad knowledge in all facets of human resources. Prior to joining Icomera, Sabrine exercised her core competencies in the healthcare technology industry and retail industry, including strategic planning, organizational development, labor relations, recruitment, change management and employee wellness and engagement.

For the past four years, Sabrine worked at HRGi Holdings, Inc. (formerly MedX, Inc., before merger) where her responsibilities progressed to collaborating with recruitment and departmental managers, managing interviews, and facilitating the recruitment of qualified job applicants for open positions. She managed new hire onboarding and orientation, and benefits administration. Sabrine led the review and documentation process for compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and developed employee surveys and strategies to maximize employee engagement.

Sabrine is fluent and proficient in business English and Portuguese and an active member of Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).

She is a graduate from the University of Maryland with a Master of Professional Studies in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, as well as a graduate from the Universidade Regional de Blumenau in Brazil with a Bachelor of Science Degree, Psychology.
