It combines aggregated multi‑network connectivity with substantial onboard computing power and storage, enabling fleets to run multiple resource‑intensive applications from a single, robust onboard platform.

High‑capacity aggregated connectivity - The X7 supports intelligent aggregation across 5G cellular, private trackside, and LEO satellite networks, using Icomera’s SureWAN™ technology to deliver resilient, high‑throughput connectivity.
Onboard computing power and virtualisation - The X7 provides significant processing headroom to host multiple onboard applications, including Passenger Wi-Fi, Infotainment, Real-Time Digital Video Surveillance, AI-Enhanced Video Analytics, and more.
Integrated and expandable storage - The X7 supports both built‑in and externally accessible storage options, enabling storage‑intensive use cases such as long‑term video retention, content caching, and bulk data handling.
LEO satellite ready - The X7 supports satellite connectivity, including Starlink, integrating satellite alongside terrestrial networks as part of a unified onboard connectivity architecture.
Built on proven X‑series software - The Icomera X7 is built on Icomera’s established X‑series software architecture, already deployed at scale across live rail fleets worldwide, supporting large numbers of onboard systems and serving millions of passenger journeys every day.
