Trenitalia has entrusted Icomera to deliver powerful and reliable passenger Internet on board its fleet of high-speed “Frecciarossa” ETR1000 and ETR700 EMU trains.
As part of Trenitalia’s commitment to an unrivalled passenger experience, a trusted and robust solution is required to meet increases in data availability, demand, and usage. This ensures that Frecciarossa’s passengers have, and will continue to have, access to industry-leading mobile communication solutions now, and in the years to come.
The work to retrofit the Frecciarossa 1000 fleet will be overseen under Trenitalia’s control, by Icomera’s new Italian office – The latest base of operations to be opened by Icomera in Europe, following the recently established office in Germany. With this ongoing expansion throughout Europe, Icomera continues to build on its reputation as the continent’s leading provider of mobile connectivity.
