First Glasgow, the city’s biggest bus operator, has introduced a fleet of ten hybrid double deck vehicles, the first of their kind, to greater Glasgow.

Ronnie Park, managing director of First Glasgow said: “The upgrading of buses on route 66 means that all non-fully accessible, step-entrance buses have been removed from the route and replaced with fully accessible vehicles. The new double deck buses offer increased capacity, leather seats and free Wi-Fi to make the journey more enjoyable for customers and we hope to attract more commuters to travel with us.”
